Wei, Yang-Hung Esq.



Mr. Wei is the managing partner of Apollo Attorneys at Law (“Apollo Law”) in Taipei. Before founding Apollo Law, he served at Lin & Partners Attorneys at Law in Taipei, and was the partner heading Lin & Partners’ cross-border dispute resolution team.

Mr. Wei’s practice primarily focuses on corporate law and commercial/cross-border disputes; corporate, securities and accounting fraud litigations; mergers and acquisitions; administrative and Fair Trade Law. He has plenty of experience in coordinating and working with other domestic and international professionals as well as in managing complicated legal and business projects. Furthermore, due to his intensive experience in handling cross-border cases, he is very familiar with the business and the compliance works of multinational groups, and the operation of foreign companies, including specific purpose vehicles established in Hong Kong, BVI, Bermuda and Cayman Islands.

During his tenure in Lin & Partners, his major clients covered substantial large group companies, including Benq-Qisda group, LITEON group, MiTAC group, Mosel group and UMC group. In the leading case of Benq-Siemens’ bankruptcy trustee v. Benq-Qisda, Mr. Wei successfully represented Benq-Qisda to defend the bankruptcy trustee’s claim at the amount of EUR 342 million. Mr. Wei personally is recognized by Chambers & Partner as one of the Taiwan leading practitioners in Dispute Resolution in 2015.
